well im getting a kit, anybody else want one. its 366 for the kit with the controller, but im not sure if that is the retail price or if that in the price with the 10% discount none the less it will not be more the that and i think its 10 bucks for shipping so maybe we can have them shipped to one place to save on the shipping.

why are u getting Meth Injection? U dont need meth injection unless ur having issues with timing or controlling knock. Big turbo cars use it instead of running pump gas at like 450 plus wheel horsepower. I would take that money and take the car somewhere to get it fine tuned which will give you way more power than adding a methanol kit. My buddy had a meth kit and it was leaking and he didnt know it. He almost blew up his car. Luckily he only blew a hole in his intake manifold!

well i was talking to the guy about it and i talked to some guys with the same car as me and the noticed an improvement and plus makes you car run safer, and i was talking to the guy i know that has the red RX-7 that came with us to the dyno and he was telling me about how it made his run a lil bit better and also saying how it better for the engine.
I would like to get a tune but i think im just going to do a good my self and there are base maps that ppl have created that roughly have the same mods that gives me a good base tune to work with.

first of all methanal is harder on an engine than gas is because gas has alot mare of an oil base to it. methanal is alot dryer and is harder on your rings and bearings and you will be needing to change your oil alot more. plus you will use about almost double the meth then you will gas and meth riiigh now is $3.09 a gallon and its goin to double within the next few months

i know its alot more expensive, but i only would use 1/2 a gallon to make a gallon tank, which im sure you probally know its most ppl use a 50/50 ratio with water. But maybe ill do some more research on and think about it.

yea i mean it will def give a boost in h/p i mean i race dirt track cars and thats what we have always run is meth but its just to hard on your stuff and we recently switched back to race gas and its just so much more inexpensive but with our motor on meth we get like a 15% raise in h/p

idk but in my car it makes everything last longer. People use this on a stock bottom end motor and are able to crank the boost up W/O killing the bottom end using a progressive controller. It makes my motor last longer lol. I was going to get a meth kit and just use my washer fluid tank but ive run out of money again buying all the other crap i needed for my car lol

well i talked to the guy that i get all my stuff from about the meth kit. He specializes in my car but anyways he said that these kits combine with the ability to control timing will make some good power. So i might get and wait till i can get some adjustable cams then ill hook it up but i asked him how good or if bad it will be to run the kit with out timing.

personally sounds like a waste of money to me. especially for how you use your car.
you want your car to run betterI still pee the bed.get a good tune...
you want a lil more power... get a tune...
i'd just hate to see you mess up your car and regret it later.
this whole methanol injection crap reminds me of back when everybody was just slapping nitrous on their cars and saying "if i run a small shot it wont ever hurt the motor, plus i won't even use it that much"...

Dude fuck that meth shit!!!!!!!! Only reason a turbo car would use it is to control knock. Just use some racegas if u want a lil more power, im sure their is something else for ur car that cost about the same or less that will yield more power to ya.

ya but you get a nice controller but i change my mind alot lol and since i cant control timing riiigh now im not going to get the kit but once i can control timing then im going to get the meth kit.

lol yea do what you you wanna do i mean i dunoo who said it aint bad but it is i mean it might not be that bad cause you aint puttin alot through your car but it isnt that good on a motor. i built and tore down alot of motors and have done alot of machine work and tests on dynos with this stuff and i was just tryin to help ya out so yea lol

We jus really see someone waste money on something that they dont need. I run 430whp with a meth kit on pump gas a a little bit bigger turbo than yours. The meth kit will be good if you plan on running 500whp on your car and want to stay with pump gas. Other than that its a waste of money. Take the $350 get the car professionally tuned and make 300whp ALL DAY LONG. ur turbo should make at least 400whp since its close to a 50 trim size. Curt Brown just made 397whp on a 16G which is smaller than your turbo on a 1G DSM. Go to Nate@TPGTuning and get the car tuned.

ill have to check them out, but i might be going to chicago that where protegegarage is at and ill get a really good tune from him for 150 bucks and that not per thats until we get it perfect. So im picking up a new intake mani and exhaust mani within the next couple of months so ill get it tuned after i get those intstalled cause that will be about all i will be doing this year.

i really dont have that much money lol but not having to pay for rent and food is nice lol, but i dont really have a high car payment and my insurance isnt that bad. I just havent bought anything during the winter
